The US Department of State announced yesterday that US consulates worldwide would begin resuming routine visa services on a post-by-post basis.
Currently, US consulates worldwide are offering limited visa services, focusing their efforts on providing US citizen services and adjudicating emergency visa appointments and National Interest Exception applications. As COVID-19 conditions in each country improves, consulates will gradually begin adding additional services and ultimately provide the full range of visa services.
For the latest information regarding the US Consulates in Germany, please click here. As of today, Mission Germany has not announced a date when routine visa services will fully resume. However, the US consulate in Germany are prioritizing visa applications for residents of Germany, especially F and M student visa holders.
