US Immigration Update: Coronavirus

After the World Health Organization's declaration of a public health emergency, the United States government has instituted new policies aimed to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Currently, individuals who were present in China or Iran for the 14-day period prior to their attempted entry will be prohibited from entering the United States. These bans do NOT apply to: green card holders, spouses of US citizens or green card holders, or parents or siblings of US citizens and green card holders under the age of 21.

US consulates and embassies worldwide are also suspending their visa services. Currently, embassies and consulates in the following countries have temporarily halted visa services: China (Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang) and Italy (Rome, Milan, Naples, Florence).

Adomat Immigration will continue monitoring the latest US immigration news regarding the coronavirus and provide regular updates. For more information, please contact Ayla Adomat at ayla@adomatimmigration.com
